What style of dress?
The good news is that there's no particular fabric to favor! Yes, you read that right! What's stopping you from wearing your little floral strappy dress (the one you wear with sandals in the summer) in the middle of winter with a big warm sweater? Absolutely NOTHING!
As you can see, for a perfect winter look, you can mix your summer dresses with your winter basics.
However, you can of course opt for a sweater dress, in wool or cashmere! It will keep you warm on its own. Remember to accessorize it well to give it style! A pretty belt for those with a slim waist, for example, or a pair of thigh-high boots and a beautiful hat.
As for the color, it all depends on your taste, but if you opt for a colorful or patterned dress, pair it with neutral-colored pieces, camel, fir green, burgundy, mustard yellow or gold being the perfect colors for your winter looks.
As for the cut, there are no real restrictions, but if you are sensitive to the cold, opt for long or 3/4 sleeves.
